What Is BDD (Benefits Delivery at Discharge)?

Category:

What if your VA claim could be decided before you even leave service? That’s exactly what BDD is designed to do. BDD stands for Benefits Delivery at Discharge. It allows transitioning service members to file a disability claim before separation, so the VA can begin processing early. The goal is simple: Reduce the time between separation and receiving a decision. BDD claims are typically filed between 180 and 90 days before separation.
