You feel the symptoms. You live with them every day. But the VA may still deny your claim—because there’s no diagnosis. Symptoms are what you experience: pain, fatigue, headaches. But the VA does not grant benefits for symptoms alone. Under 38 CFR Part 3, service connection requires a current disability—which is usually established through a medical diagnosis.
